Two Years Together

From start to finish you share the learning journey with the same cohort of students and staff. This hybrid program combines on-line learning with in-person intensives. Participants engage an online learning management system at least weekly during the whole program, responding to assigned readings and discussing course content as they integrate new insights with past experience. Candidates should expect to give 15 hours a week for the duration of this course. Graduate level research and writing builds through the coursework and culminates in a final capstone or thesis project related to an area of passion in the student’s life. This graduate course is designed to be done alongside your work in missions, leadership and community. The program fee includes registration, tuition, and the food and housing for the on-site intensives. Airfare, airport transportation, and textbooks are not included.

Applicants for the MATBC program must be full-time YWAM staff with a minimum of five years in YWAM, including time spent as a student. A Bible Core Course or equivalent is required, or can be arranged online. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is also accepted (exceptions to this BA requirement are encouraged to apply and will be considered).

“This program was one of the most rewarding — and challenging — experiences of my ministry journey. It deepened my understanding of ministry and expanded my perspective in new ways. Walking through it with the same cohort over two years created a deep sense of family, growth, and community.”

(Elianderson Nicacio)

““MATBC helped me dive deeper into the theology of the Trinity, giving me a fresh perspective on God, life, and ministry. More than academic, it shaped how I see communication, leadership, community, and mission. I would encourage others to join because this program forms both your thinking and your heart for God’s work in the world while also opening doors for further education.””

(Cleber Santos)
